Slouch Socks

The socks are finished! And the magic loop method of knitting two socks at once gets a big thumbs up from me! Also, I ran out of yarn again! It is starting to become my 'thing', but instead of waiting to get more of this same yarn, I found some coordinating pink in my stash that I doubled up and used to finish knitting the toes.

Knit sloth Socks

I knit these Slouch Socks from Katie Statzman's The Knitted Slipper Book using Red Heart With Love Chunky in Lettuce and Cascade Yarns Longwood in color number 32 as a Craft Book Club craft. I figured I needed some warm socks for my pantsdrunk sessions so it was the perfect project for Pantsdrunk: The Finnish Path to Relaxation by Miska Rantanen. (I was even able to practice being pantsdrunk one evening while I was knitting these socks.) My kitchener stitch to join/bind off the toes is a bit wonky, but overall the socks look pretty good! They are definitely warm!

Our next read for Craft Book Club is The Gentle Art of Swedish Death Cleaning by Margareta Magnusson. I think I'll easily find an area to tidy up in the house and can figure out a corresponding organizing craft to share in November.
