I need your help again.

A few months ago I asked for your help in deciding what to make with some fabric and I ended up making a lovely scarf that I gave to my mother. Now I need your help figuring out what to make with these:

Some time ago one of the dollar stores in the area went out of business, but before they did I bought these yellow rain pants. I don't remember what I was thinking I could make out of them, but I do remember that it was just too good of a deal to pass up. These rain pants take up quite a bit of room and I finally need to do something with them.

Facts about the rain pants:
20 pairs of these pants

From each pair: 2 mostly rectangular 20" x 42" pieces

I will be taking suggestions from the comments section. If you have an idea, please leave a comment. If you have lots of ideas please leave lots of comments or one really long comment. Thank you in advance for your help.

  1. First I must say, thank you for the lovely scarf.
And my first thoughts for the yellow rain pants is to turn them into a dog rain coat,
or a Rain coat for bicycle seat,
    maybe a car windshield cover,
a liner for a lunch sack.

  2. make a raft..........

  3. I don't think it will make a good scarf for your mom, maybe a rain tent?? OR< how about a cover for your uncles Ranger. It has open sides and the weather seems to pile up inside. Anyway, all 8 inches+ did during the last snow storm!!
