Nama Chocolate Pie

I made this super chocolaty treat for a chocolate loving coworker based on this recipe for Japanese Nama Chocolates.

For some reason I do not have a gram scale at home so I bought a chocolate crumb crust while I was getting the other ingredients just in case the chocolate didn't setup (since I wasn't really going to be following the recipe). The pie is very rich and slice was more than enough to satisfy my afternoon chocolate craving.

Nama Chocolate Pie
     A Prepared Chocolate Crumb Crust
     Half Pint (236mL) Whipping Cream
     12oz (340g) Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
     1 Tablespoon Melted Butter
     2oz Frangelico, Hazelnut Liqueur (optional)
     Cocoa Powder to dust pie
1. Heat whipping cream in a saucepan on the stove-top until it almost reaches a boil.
2. Turn off heat, add the semi-sweet chocolate chips and stir until completely melted.
3. Mix in melted butter and Frangelico.
4. Pour mixture into chocolate crumb crust and refrigerate until firm.
5. Dust with cocoa powder and serve.
