In Skagway we took a train ride up White Pass into the Yukon Territory (I love train rides!) and learned a little bit about the gold rush. The Butchart Gardens outside of Victoria, BC is GORGEOUS! It was previously a limestone quarry; it's very inspiring to think an ugly hole in the ground could become a national treasure.
