In Reader Digest's Back to Basics there is a section on candle making. To make these ice candles I put wicks in my molds and added ice around it. Then poured melted wax over the ice and waited for all the ice to melt so I could drain off the water. My ice pieces were probably a little too large for the containers, but the candles look fine.
Our next book is The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe by C.S. Lewis. I'm getting into the Christmas/winter spirit!
