Here is the sad looking backside of the pom pom parrot. I'm quite disappointed with this pom pom, I'd give myself the benefit of this being my first attempt at a pom pom animal, but my second try was much worse. Making pom pom animals is probably not my thing, I may just have to admire the images of other people's work. (Do an image search of pom pom animals, some of them are AMAZING!)
Our next book for Craft Book Club is A Tree Grows in Brooklyn by Betty Smith. I've finished this book too (I'm on a book reading roll!) and plan on making a bank! I'm not sure if it will be the star bank described in the book or not, You'll have to check back towards the end of July to see what it looks like!
