Travel Knitting Project

My knitting queue is getting jumbled. The next two items on my list will have to be postponed because the first is too large to be travel friendly (and I am doing a bit of traveling) and the second pattern can't be purchased by itself (only in a book and I'm not sure I want the whole book) so I'm moving on to the third in my list, a cowl that I can easily take with me on a plane and I've already purchased the pattern. Here is the yarn I'll be using, no progress yet:
