Trying Macrame

Knitting the lampshade wasn't working out. Since there were no side supports the knitting was squeezing together in the middle making an hourglass type shape. I've decided to scrap that idea and try out macrame for the lampshade. So far I've just cut the yarn and attached it to the top ring of the lampshade. Now I need to figure out how to tie different knots and probably find a way to suspend the lampshade while I work so it's a little less difficult.
