So Many Pumpkins!

Over the weekend I started my garden clean up! The pumpkins are now on my front porch and look so cute (my favorites are the itty bitty one and the yellow one)! I should have counted them so you'd be impressed by all my pumpkins. What was impressive/also terrifying was the number of squash bugs living in my garden last week; there were so many the ground was moving. (I've shared a not scary photo of some below.) Next year I need to start squishing them sooner.

The next part of the garden I'm cleaning up are the sunflowers. They have finished blooming and are drying up and petal-less, but the birds haven't done a very good job eating up the seeds so I'm leaving them up for another week or so. I'm hoping the popcorn will dry up in the next week (I doubt they will though) so I can harvest them. The temperature dropped really quickly here, it was in the 90's for so long now it's down to the 60's with rain (this isn't a complaint though I want the corn to hurry and dry up).
