Bird of Paradise

I am slacking again (or still?) and don't have a craft to share with you today so instead I've got photos of a bird of paradise. It started blooming in the greenhouse and it is certainly an enjoyable thing that has happened in the last week. I've never really examined one up close, but the flowers are very neat.
