I decided to rip out stitches all the way back to the middle of the alligator's snout. The nostrils look fine and I can add several rows in this area to lengthen the head. Once I finally got the knitting back to this point I decided to knit a row to get everything back on track and I was so clumsy like I forgot how to knit. It was probably the large needles and tired hands from winding up all that yarn, but it has been quite awhile since I've done any knitting. I keep seeing shawl patterns that I love and want to make, but need to finish a few of my works in progress before starting anything new. My goal is to finish the head and get started knitting the pink scutes again this week.
