Oil Pastel Landscape

I finished the landscape drawing of oranges and greens then ruined it by painting it with varnish. At least I took a photo of the drawing before so I can remember that the whites were white instead of a dirty greenish tint from the little oil pastel booger flakes that I brushed all over the drawing. I think I'll need to upgrade from Crayola brand pastels to something that goes on smoother when I plan on using varnish again.
