Upcycling

I have a sort of problem of hanging on to things most people would just throw in the trash/recycle bin because I think I can make something great with it. This wouldn't be a problem if I followed through with these great plans, but these things end up [most of the time] just taking up space. My plan is to FINALLY  do something with these things.

Here is a list of the things I am going to upcycle into something wondrous:
old jersey tank tops → trendy jersey necklaces
small plastic milk jugs → chandelier/light fixture
plastic bags → plarn (plastic yarn) and fused plastic
dead blender → lamp
newspaper → starter pots for seedlings


Note: I still have two projects from my embroidery series that I haven't finished yet (this one and another). Once they are complete I will share them. I am trying to avoid a seemingly endless stream of work in progress posts.
