Peter Pan Collar

I made a peter pan collar with floral fabric and a sweet blue button. Now I need to figure out what shirt(s) to wear it with.

And because he is just so darn cute, a picture of Winslow wearing the collar.

He was very curious when I was taking photos of the collar, then when I put it on him he wanted to run away.

Another Bow Tie

For the next several blog posts I will be showcasing neckwear! The first in this series is a bow tie:

I used the same pattern as this bow tie I made for Father's day  (Burda Style's David Pattern); I even add Velcro to it too.

I am happy to report that I am getting better at tying a bow tie, I just needed a quick refresher coarse (read as internet search) and I tied it in no time (read as a few minutes plus removing the tie to make the bow tight enough)!

This time I even remembered to take a picture before tying the bow!

Knit Knot Headband

As promised here is the latest knit and knotted project.

A cute headband with a flower like knot.

It was made in the same way as the knit coffee cozy, using Lion Brand Yarn's Fishermen's Wool in Oak Tweed for the rope. The sort of flower is a round mat that is tied tight so it doesn't lie flat and has more texture.

Tuesday is the start of my new craft series. I can't wait to share these new projects with you!

I didn't accomplish much in the last two weeks.

Well, I did do everything I said I would, it just doesn't seem like my time was well spent. Despite the little bit of encouragement I received to catch up on my photo 365 uploads, I waited until the last minute then my camera battery died while picking photos so I only got through day 181 posted (just 12 behind now). Here are a few of the latest photos:

In the next few days I will be posting the rest of the photos and will try to not get so far behind again.

I will have the last project from these teaser photos to share with you on Thursday. Then next week I will be starting a new craft series.

I will be taking a two week hiatus from this blog. During this time I will be helping move my sister, catch up on my work stuffs, starting some new projects, and watching ANTM.
