Golden Girls Cross Stitch

Now that the holidays are over and I shared your gift I can start showing you all the handmade items I gave out this year.

This cross stitch work of art features my sister's (and everyone else's) favorite senior citizens: Blanche, Sophia, Dorothy, and Rose! The Golden Girls pattern was designed by Jacqueline & Christopher Gable of weelittlestitches and can be purchased in their shop.

It was my very first cross stitch and they turned out great. I had a lot of trouble with the pull-the-threads-out type canvas (the threads kept breaking) so for future cross stitching I will be using the dissolving type canvas.
