Kiki Costume

Last week I helped my friend make accessories for her Kiki's Delivery Service Costume. First we sewed an oversize red bow for her hair and a messenger bag each from cotton fabric:

Then the next night we made a stuffed Jiji out of felt:

They turned out great! I dressed as Pippi Longstocking for Halloween so I wore a bunch of mismatched clothes from my closet and braided my hair with a wire headband à la this Thundercat costume post.
