DIY Recycled Kitty Toys

I have two super easy, super quick, and super inexpensive tutorials for you! We are making some ball shaped kitty toys out of toilet paper tubes or corrugated cardboard! First, gather your supplies and maybe a helper.

For the first project you will need toilet paper tubes from your recycle bin and a pair of scissors. That's it! Now you just do a bit of cutting:

Totally easy! You can make two balls per toilet paper tube! For a little extra something special for your cat you can put a small treat inside a ball.

The second project calls for corrugated cardboard from your recycle bin. You'll need a pair of scissors for cutting. Here's how to make these balls:

Also incredibly easy! Don't be too worried about making a perfect circle, as you can see my "circles" had a few angles and they work just fine.

Winslow was very patient and waited until I finished before reaching out to play with the toys. Unfortunately for him I was making them for a friend's new kitty, but I hadn't taken out my bathroom recyclables for weeks so he got to keep a few.
