Pallet Footstool

This weekend I went over to my dad's to salvage parts from my plastic hose reel that is falling apart and make a hose reel box. Unfortunately it was in worse shape than I thought so we spent our time making something else instead, a footstool out of pallet wood.

Here it is in all it's glory. It is even sturdy enough to support an adult person! (It was a bit wobbly when we first started. Hurrah screws!)

Now I need to find a new hose reel, one that is probably metal so it lasts forever.
