Cross Stitch Portraits WIP

For Christmas last year my sister got me the awesome Do-it-Yourself Stitch People book by Elizabeth Dabczynski-Bean. I've finally started making some cross stitch people that will eventually be some Christmas presents so I can't show you much of my work so far (I don't want to be a surprise ruiner), but check out these little x's.

I'm trying to use the embroidery floss I have on hand so my color options are slightly limited. Luckily I did the Golden Girls cross stitch a few years ago and have a color that resembles a skin tone. Everyone is going to have very light skin, it's like I'm using crayons.
