Pumpkins

It's the pumpkin time of year! Over the weekend I went to a pumpkin patch and picked out a pumpkin to carve. Then Tuesday I carved my pumpkin into a cute, kinda boring looking Jack o' Lantern. Here are some photos I took:

The pumpkin patch was a lot of fun, it took a while for the littlest member of the group to find his pumpkin and his final choice nearly killed me from the cuteness. I picked my pumpkin because of the little lump on the side that I turned into a nose; it looks cute, but definitely boring compared to past years. On another note, I am saving seeds from the carved pumpkins, a tiny white pumpkin I got at the pumpkin patch, and the sugar pie pumpkins that are still green. I want to grow lots of pumpkins next year and may pick up a fun decorative pumpkin from the store for it's seeds too.
