Then, after rinsing out the dye, instead of letting the napkins dry, I decided to wash them immediately and they turned into blue mess. I have since bleached the napkins and they have some faded blue marks where the dye was the darkest, I'm not sure I can get them completely white again so I may dye them a solid color or they just might be rags. This project is definitely on my list again and next time I will be more patient and let the napkins dry before washing.
