Bonfire Candle Prototype

I'm going to start this off by saying this project was not safe and should not be made.

My winter solstice party is one of my favorite new traditions. Since I won't be hosting it this year I was thinking of making some "bonfire" candles to give to my friends. I melted some paraffin wax and poured it into a glass jar with an egg carton wick. The candle was very smoky; I let it burn for 20 minutes then smothered it and the glass jar cracked. Now I know why sterno is in a metal tin.
