How is the first week of September? It went by surprisingly quickly for me and I didn't get my garden update photos ready yesterday so you'll have to wait to see my pumpkin progress next week and in the mean time, check out this witch hazel flower. Blooming in August! (Witch hazels flower in the winter so I was very surprised to see this plant blooming in the summer!) There are maybe five other plants in the garden and only one of them has flowers. I want to say it is a late bloomer (rather than early) because the other plants all have their fruit developing/ripening and this one doesn't. Anyway, be like this witch hazel plant and take as much time as you need.
