Craft Book Club read was
Spear by Nicola Griffith. It's a story in the King Arthur realm with the holy grail. I racked my brain trying to figure out some food that was not water that fit with the holy grail, but I was unsuccessful and decided to look up medieval recipes. I found a recipe for shrimp and carrot salad that was going to be a perfect addition to our Thanksgiving seafood feast! It's a simple recipe with shredded carrot tossed in a simple seasoned vinegar based dressing then topped with tiny shrimp tossed in the same vinegar dressing.
