I knit these while listening to Little Women on CD and probably could have knit five pairs before the book was finished; I didn't remember how long the book was!
These were a quick knitting project and they are doing a wonderful job of keeping my toes warm. This is the first pair of socks I have knit and was quite surprised how easy turning the heel was and how amazing the figure 8 cast on is!
The yarn I used for these slippers is Lion Brand Homespun yarn in Tudor colorway; various ribbons and fabric scraps were used to decorate them. Here is an obligatory shoegazing photo:
