Washi Tape

As I mentioned when sharing the dry erase calendar, I have a lot of washi tape. Seriously, a lot. So I had Katie and Chelsea over for a Crafternoon and we put washi tape on things. I decorated a flattened paper bag that I used as wrapping paper for my sister's birthday present. (The ends were only secured with the washi tape an they opened up after being jostled around in my suitcase. I recommend some stickier tape to secure any openings.)

Katie had trouble deciding what to put washi tape on and came over with nothing. When I didn't have anything for her to decorate she realized she had her planner and decided to add washi tape to it. The front side is colorful and the backside is a little bit spooky.

Chelsea brought over some hangers to decorate. Her project took longer than the others so Katie and I decorated a few of the hangers. We use quite a variety of the tape designs on the hangers. The hangers were definitely hard for me to decorate; I had trouble with the tape ripping and wrinkling, but they turned out good and are definitely fun!

Do you have any suggestions of items to decorate with washi tape? I've still got a lot and feel like it needs to be used!
