It's a new year! 2016 is over and I ended up raising my crafting intentions "grade" from an F to a C. I didn't do as well as I had hoped; the hippo slippers, pistachio succulents, and fabric stash evaluation is done, the but I haven't finished the leopard hat yet.
This year I'm repeating a 2015 goal, knitting hats for charity! A month ago when I was thinking up my resolutions I didn't realize I would currently be so unmotivated to pick up my knitting needles (see above note about the unfinished leopard hat) so I set a lofty goal of ten hats. Last time I knit six hats for charity and one for myself by my coworker's charity event so I'm going to do at least that well and need to get stitching!
I've only chosen two craft goals this year; my other resolution for the year is to start embroidering again. It's been way too long since I've done any embroidery or cross stitch and I have at least one cross stitch portrait to make this year. As I am writing this I am realizing "more embroidery" isn't a very specific goal so in addition to the one cross stitch portrait I currently have planned, I will do two other projects.
Let me know in the comments if you made any craft goals for this year or if you have embroidery/cross stitch suggestions.
I love this! So neat Kelly. I am sure others would love them!
