This week I'm sharing some different plant lights/lampshades that I have made. First up is this macrame lampshade that I started in 2017, sometimes I'm slow at finishing projects.
This project was simple, but time consuming (not the reason it took a year and a half to complete). I started by cutting many pieces of yarn and attaching them to the ring with a lark's head knot. Then I tied so many square knots. To attach the bottom ring I looped the yarn around like a lark's head knot then tied two pieces from side by side lark's head knots together, trimmed the ends and pulled the yarn apart into fringe.
See, simple, but time consuming.
I like it! It’s different. :)
